For several years, PAHO / WHO has used new information technologies to produce training material reducing disaster risk and other information resources. With the launch of new multimedia DVD, Virtual Journey through a secure hospital, the material has reached a new level.
This new DVD using multimedia technology and resources that make the learning experience more versatile and easy to use. The program combines video, animation duo and three-dimensional images and sound, and includes technical presentations and publications to create a virtual learning environment 'safe hospitals'.
The virtual tour is separate modules which can be used independently to explore specific aspects of the subject, or can be used in sequence to perform a full scan. The package includes a user guide that helps the 'traveler' to make the most of their journey through the hospital insurance, through an adaptation of the route according to your needs. An entire trip can take up to three hours, but the intro video, which provides an effective overview of all components of the program, has a duration of 15 minutes.
